Your landscape maintenance is an important asset to your property. Below are some of the services we provide for your landscape maintenance.
We utilize a combination of fast release, slow release, organic and/or nitrogen sources. Fertilization will take place five times per year; more if your lawn is seeded with Winter rye. A pre-emergent is applied in Spring and Fall.
Tree and Shrub Fertilization
Trees and shrubs are fertilized according to the particular species. Depending on the species, deep-root, drenching or foliar feeding methods are applied. These measures are taken in the Spring and Fall.
Turf Weed Control
We apply a pre-emergent weed control twice per year in the Spring and Fall. This proactive method is the foundation of a weed-free lawn. Supplemental spot treatments are sometimes necessary and are charged on a per-visit basis.
Turf Insect Control
Insects and diseases that infest turf will be controlled by using our system of pest management which includes preventative and curative applications. Treatments are applied in Spring and again in Summer.
Tree and Shrub Insect Control
Trees and shrubs will be treated in the same manner as your turf, using preventative and curative applications. These treatments are also applied in Spring and again in Summer.
Top Choice Application
Top Choice is applied once per year and guards against fire ants, fleas and ticks in your turf. It is most effective when applied in Fall, but may be applied during any season.
Seasonal Irrigation Program Testing and Adjustment
We will examine water distribution patterns on a seasonal basis to ensure best coverage, the least usage of water, as well as functionality of the system. System checks and station time adjustments will be made according to the requirements of the plantings and the seasons.
Irrigation Repairs and Upgrades
We will replace and repair any sprinkler heads that we damage as needed. Other repairs will be charged on a parts/labor quotation to you. As your system ages or your landscape changes, we will make recommendations for mechanical and system control upgrades.
Spring Leaf Removal and Fall Leaf Removal
During the months of February through March trees such as Live Oaks drop their leaves. During this period we will spend extra time on your regularly scheduled visits to clean up the leaves on your lawn, flower beds, even those gathering in porch areas. Fall leaf removal is applicable for trees such as Spanish Oaks and Cedar Elms and occurs during the months of October-December.
This is a one-time cleanup. At this time we will cut back your perennials at the time of dormancy and shear ornamental grasses.
